Stephanie Porter, WHNP
Stephanie is a women’s health nurse practitioner that joined the practice in 2001. She collaborates with the perinatologists and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive pre-conceptual and obstetrical care to patients referred to our practice.
Additionally, Stephanie functions as a clinical supervisor as well as a research coordinator within the office. Our office participates in several multi-center clinical research trials that seek to increase our knowledge base in the field of maternal-fetal medicine. Stephanie is certified through National Certification Corporation as a women’s health nurse practitioner (2001) and is a member of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH). She previously worked as a registered nurse in Labor and Delivery at UT Medical Center. Professional achievements include co-authorship on an article published in the Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing as well as receiving the “Outstanding Alumni Award for Excellence in Patient Care” from the University of Tennessee College of Nursing.
