Dr. Charlotte McCarley is a native of North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University for undergraduate and completed medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. McCarley then completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Tennessee Medical Center before completing her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. McCarley is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Her areas of interest include prenatal diagnosis, maternal medical complications, quality improvement and implementation science, and maternal physical activity and metabolism. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
